skydivingThere is no magic to making a bucket list. It needs to be a fun exercise and designed to be a road map for the special things you would like to do during the rest of your life. If time and money were not an object, what would those special things be?

Think of the opening line from the soap opera Days of Our Lives. “Like sands through the hour glass, so are the days of our lives.” How much sand is left in your ‘hour glass’? What special/fun things have you left undone?

The quality of our lives should not be measured in the number of breaths we take but instead by the number of events we participate in that takes our breath away.

In today’s sometimes hectic world, we seem to live by ‘to do’ lists. You simply need to change the focus from day-to-day or week to week activities to the important events you would like to accomplish before you pass away. I suggest that you don’t make your bucket list too long, too convoluted, or too impossible to achieve. Let’s start with 10 things you would really like to do in the future.

Best of all creating your bucket list doesn’t cost a thing. Take a few minutes and dream. Your future is yours. Do it now.
